Ceremony held at the Los Angeles Arboretum
Reception held at the Lindsay's parent's house
The Ceremony location was absolutly gorgeous at the Arboretum. The lush gardens, fountains and lake made for a fantastic ceremony. And to my surprise they had these beautiful blue peacocks just walking around. What a wonderful atmosphere. I also learned that this is where they filmed the Fantasy Island series and apparently many movies are filmed there throughout the year due to the picturesque surroundings. The only issue was the helicopters that were flying over the ceremony for the entire time due to a police emergency nearby. But Lindsay and Rusty took it in stride and had fun with it as they did with everything! The best part about this venue was that they closed to the public after a certain time in the afternoon so the entire venue was at their disposal.
The colors of this wedding were sunset colors of burnt oranges, reds and deep yellows. How beautiful!! The reception was held in the bride's parents' backyard and it made for such an intimate setting. Everyone was having so much fun at this wedding that by the end of the night the photographer was out on the dance floor getting his groove on with the bride and groom!! What a great group of people! I love my job!!
